Job Title: Intune Engineer – II

Job Description:

Role Overview:

As a Microsoft Intune Level 2 Support Engineer, you will be responsible for providing advanced technical support and expertise for Microsoft Intune, focusing on device management, application deployment, and security configurations. You will work closely with Level 1 support technicians, as well as other IT teams and stakeholders, to troubleshoot complex issues, implement solutions, and optimize the Intune environment for our organization's needs.

Responsibilities:

Technical Support: Provide advanced technical support for Microsoft Intune, including troubleshooting issues related to device enrollment, configuration profiles, compliance policies, application deployment, and security features.

Problem Resolution: Analyze and resolve escalated incidents and service requests related to Intune, ensuring timely resolution and minimal impact on business operations.

Configuration and Optimization: Configure and optimize Intune policies, profiles, and settings to meet the organization's security and compliance requirements, as well as to enhance user

productivity and experience.

Documentation: Document technical solutions, troubleshooting steps, and best practices for Intune deployment and management, contributing to the knowledge base and training materials for Level 1 support technicians and end-users.

Collaboration: Collaborate with other IT teams, such as system administrators, network engineers, and security specialists, to integrate Intune with existing infrastructure and systems, and to ensure seamless operation and compatibility.

Training and Knowledge Sharing: Provide training and mentorship to Level 1 support technicians and end-users on Intune features, capabilities, and best practices, empowering them to effectively utilize and manage Intune-managed devices and applications.

Continuous Improvement: Stay informed about the latest Intune updates, features, and industry trends, and proactively identify opportunities to enhance the Intune environment and streamline management processes.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).

5+ years of experience in IT support or system administration roles, with a focus on Microsoft Intune and enterprise mobility management (EMM) solutions.

Proficiency in configuring and troubleshooting Intune policies, profiles, and settings for Windows, iOS, and Android devices.

Strong understanding of mobile device management (MDM), mobile application management (MAM), and conditional access policies.

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues.

Effective communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts clearly and concisely to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Microsoft certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Intune and Azure Administrator Associate) preferred.
