Job Purpose:

This role is accountable & responsible for,

 This is an entry level position within Network & Cyber Security team.

 Associate will be responsible to assist identify, evaluate, test, and implement security

controls in terms of new or improve existing security solutions/technologies and

processes to strengthen the overall security posture of the organization.


Job Responsibilities:

Solutioning:

❖ Identify & analyze security gaps & pain areas.

❖ Identify suitable controls – security solution or operational control / processes.

❖ Assist team in their planning and Strategies New Solutions/Implementation

❖ Contribute to management Presentation for New Strategies and Solutions

❖ Assist team in evaluate, Design & Architect innovative, agile & cost-effective solutions.

❖ Assist team in building Robust, Scalable & Secure Solution

❖ Execute POC & related task end to end.

❖ Always look out for improving existing controls/solutions or look for alternate to strengthen

security, improve efficiency & effectiveness and manageability

❖ TCO/ROI - Technical viability while determining economic value to the business.

❖ In line with Security Architecture & Roadmap


Project Management & Implementation:

 Ensure projects are executed within expected timelines and scope.

 Manage Project Life Cycle – Initiation, Planning, Execution, Monitoring & Control, Closure

Collaborate with respective teams to implement the solutions & controls.

 Transition to administration team with adequate handholding & documentation.

 Act as a L2 support for the issues in newly implemented security solutions, handle, and address

escalations.

 Publish the relevant dashboards and status updates.

 Remain updated with organizations security policies, latest security advisories/threats and industry

best-practices.

 Vendor Management - Escalate deviations and violations in a timely manner.


Qualification:

· Graduate from Recognized University with Relevant Professional Certificates


Work Experience & Knowledge:

● Overall, 3-6 years with relevant experience in evaluating, architecting, planning,

presenting & implementing security solutions for the enterprise.

● Should have knowledge in Azure, AWS and GCP cloud platforms.

● Should have knowledge to design and implement cloud security tools like NGFW, WAF,

ALB etc.

● Should have knowledge to implement native cloud security offering of all leading cloud

platforms.

● Should have extensive management and domain experience in planning, designing,

architecting, deploying solutions & controls (technical & operational) commensurate with

the risks across prevent, detect, respond, and predict domains.

● Should have rich experience in delivering large scale mission critical projects

simultaneously and within time & budget.

● Should possess sound experience, understanding and knowledge of security operations,

processes and various security technologies e.g. NGFW, NGIPS, HIPS, WAF, Malware

Protection & Anti-APT/Sandboxing, Endpoint Security, EDR, NAC, A.D., Adaptive

Authentication, 2FA, Remote access VPN,SSO, IDAM, PIM, Web/email gateway security,

USB storage controls, VAPT & Patch Mgmt., Secure Configuration & Hardening, Wireless

Security, WIPS, Encryption – data at rest & data in transit (Site to site VPN, IPSec, PKI, SSL,

etc.), Data Masking, Rights Management, MDM, DLP, Secure File Mgmt., Anti-phishing &

Anti-rouge app, SIEM & Log monitoring, FIM, DAM, SOC processes & Security Incident

Management etc.

● Should have good understanding of cloud security requirements.

● Should have sound understanding & knowledge of latest information security

technologies and use of new technologies in security like machine learning, analytics,

block-chain etc.

● Should have sound knowledge, understanding & experience of IT infrastructure &

networking technologies and operations.

● Should have sound knowledge and understanding of frameworks, standards, best

practices like ISO 27001, PCI-DSS, OWASP, SANS, etc. and IT operational processes.

● Should have sound knowledge & understanding of IT infrastructure & networking and

applications, databases etc.

● Should have strong analytical and communication skills
