-Key Responsibilities

  • Undertake study of processes/policies/IT systems in place in key revenue earning departments of State and compare against better performing states.
  • Experience in Government Consulting Preferable.
  • Make use of data analytics as an enabler to increase the state revenue by detection of potential revenue leakages, identifying the fraudulent activities and improvement in compliance through analytics-based methods.
  • Study of data analytics requirements of revenue department (Commercial Tax/Others) functional divisions and existing reporting and analytical capabilities.
  • Identification of immediate additional insights that can be generated with existing database/datasets by way of reports and analysis using newer analysis techniques.
  • Preparation of reports based on the data available across database and portal.
  • Providing support in Data Analytics, Training and Capacity Building.
  • Prepare taxpayer master profile comprising of – related parties, uncommon trend/pattern, suspicious transactions, mismatches, and indicative tax evasion value basis the data available in system.
  • To provide data support to the working units for analyzing the compliances in line with provisions of laws
  • Analyze different sources of data & analyze relationships between different data sets.
  • Support departments in consuming reports/analysis/ actionable insights generated.
  • Design and Development of required Extraction, transformation and loading systems to populate information in the data warehouse.
  • Suggesting proper tools and technologies for desired operations, creation of a Data Management Framework containing analytics and reports which will serve as use- cases for each of the departments.
  • Develop mechanisms for gathering information from multiple sources to create a single view of information.
