Job Description:-


JD for Transition Manager:


  • Understand and manage the transition goals, timeline metrics and deliverables.
  • Defining the scope of transition and align with transition solution proposed
  • Preparing master transition plan
  • Co-ordinating and collating status/issues from all locations in case of VDM
  • Providing reports to Wipro and Client Management
  • Conducting transition as per the transition plan
  • Planning and deploying resources for the transition
  • Performing transition scope management
  • Managing stakeholders' expectations
  • Identifying and managing the risks
  • Planning and sourcing infrastructure set up and tools for the transition
  • Tracking the transition engagement in terms of phase exit criteria and the transition metrics by preparing the Transition Dashboard and Transition PMR
  • Ensuring completion of SMTDs for applications
  • Ensuring baselining of EPD during the Parallel Perform phase
  • Tracking and resolving technical issues observed as part of transition
  • Analyzing performance and arriving at SLAs which do not pose a risk to the engagement
  • The Transition Manager will focus on Transition Solution Design during the RFP stage and will work in consultation with AMS Pre Sales Team. Participate in daily cadence calls and contribute to proposal response preparation, Bid Defence, solution workshops and Client Visits.
  • Participate in Due Diligence activities and refine the transition solution as needed. Prepare Transition SOW as needed.
  • Will also be responsible for successfully executing the Transition by leveraging the CoE framework, templates, checklists, and tools.
  • Work closely with the Program Transition Director and Delivery leadership, provide weekly status reports, engage in low level transition tasks planning, monitoring the progress and facilitate successful cutover to steady state operations.
  • Submit regular governance reports ( internal, customer)
  • Ensure program is moved successfully to steady state with BAU expectations from the customer.
  • Work with team in base lining the steady state metrics planned.
