Job Title: Civil Engineer


Location: Madhapur, Hyderabad


Job Summary

The Senior Civil Engineer will lead the planning, design, execution, and maintenance of civil engineering projects related to the development of educational facilities. This includes infrastructure for learning and development (L&D), ensuring compliance with quality standards, safety regulations, and budgetary constraints. The candidate will work collaboratively with architects, contractors, and the education management team to deliver functional and aesthetically sound spaces for educational use.


Key Responsibilities


Project Planning and Design

  • Assess infrastructure needs for L&D initiatives and develop project plans.
  • Collaborate with architects to ensure designs align with educational objectives and regulatory standards.
  • Prepare cost estimates, project timelines, and resource allocation plans.

Execution and Supervision

  • Oversee the construction and renovation of educational facilities, including classrooms, labs, and recreational spaces.
  • Ensure adherence to safety standards, quality benchmarks, and environmental regulations.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and resolve any on-site issues.

Stakeholder Coordination

  • Liaise with contractors, vendors, and consultants to ensure timely delivery of services.
  • Work closely with the education management team to align infrastructure goals with institutional priorities.
  • Communicate project updates and progress to senior management and stakeholders.

Compliance and Documentation

  • Ensure all projects comply with local building codes, fire safety regulations, and accessibility standards.
  • Maintain detailed records of designs, contracts, budgets, and project progress.
  • Prepare reports and documentation for audits and compliance reviews.

Maintenance and Upgrades

  • Develop maintenance schedules and strategies for existing educational infrastructure.
  • Recommend and implement upgrades to enhance the learning environment.



Qualifications and Skills

  • Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering; a Master’s degree is a plus.
  • Experience: At least 10 years in civil engineering, with a focus on educational or institutional projects.
  • Technical Skills:
  • Proficiency in design software (AutoCAD, Revit, etc.).
  • Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and structural systems.
  • Familiarity with local building codes and safety regulations.
  • Project Management Skills:
  • Proven ability to manage complex projects with multiple stakeholders.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Soft Skills:
  • Strong leadership and team management capabilities.
  • Effective communication and negotiation skills.
  • Problem-solving and decision-making expertise.
