Job Overview

As a DevSecOps engineer, you will provide leadership in the DevSecOps areas of DevOps like Build, Release and Deployment Management and SecOps like Vulnerability Management, Certificate Management, Password Policy Management, Data Analysis of security monitoring outputs, coordination of Remediation Patching, and other daily Security and Compliance efforts. Additionally, you will assist in developing an automated security framework for robust deployment tools and processes, leveraging various scripting languages and open-source solutions.


ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop Build, Release and Deployment Management (CI/CD) pipelines using Jenkins, Gitlab and Terraform in an Agile environment.
  • Be a strong hands-on devops engineer and manage Build and DevOps Automation Processes using Gitlab, Jenkins, Ansible, Docker,OVA/OVF, Kubernetes/EKS etc.
  • Build integrations with third party software & libraries, open-source software management, and tools.
  • Manage Auditing and Compliance Certifications such as ISO, CISA, PCI-ISA, and PCIP.
  • Manage Amazon AWS Policy, Configuration, and Security Management.
  • Setup and operate observability stacks using tools like Graphana, Elasitc, Logstash, Kibana, Prometheus etc.


REQUIREMENT

  • Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • Prior experience (5 +years) in a Production Engineering or related position.
  • Experience working with Developers, DevOps, and Engineering teams in a dynamic. environment to promote/implement the DevSecOps program throughout the organization.
  • Ability to review and analyze vulnerability data to identify security risks to the organization's network, infrastructure, and application's and determine any reported.
  • Leadership and Teaming skills to coordinate remediation of vulnerabilities within established timeframes.
  • Proficiency in Bash, Python or other scripting languages.
  • Familiarity with Information Security frameworks/standards (i.e. CIS, NIST, RFC2196, etc).
  • Familiarity with Network Security, Container Security, AWS Cloud Security.
  • Knowledge of PCI-DSS, ISO, HIPPA, SOX, GDPR, and CCPA Standards and Policies and the associated certification and audit processes.
  • Comprehension in the security areas of Key Management Systems, Certificate Management, Encryption, Penetration Testing, Vulnerability Scanning, Security and Monitoring tools, etc.
  • Experience configuring, implementing and leveraging computer security and networking diagnostic/monitoring tools.
  • Knowledge of Windows and Linux patch management and related information security functions (authentication, encryption, iptables, SSL, Ciphers, etc).
  • Ability to work with APIs and Plugins to integrate security tools into established CI/CD pipelines.
  • DevSecOps engineer must be able to work in a specific environment: Jenkins, Docker, Java, Python, Ruby, Perl, Scripting YAML, SAST (Static Application Security Testing), DAST (Dynamic Application Security Testing).
  • 3+ years’ experience with cloud platforms like GCP, AWS, or Azure.
  • Must be comfortable with Linux and associated technologies (e.g., Bash, cron, filesystems, signals, sockets, pipes, processes, SSH).
