About Us:

At Compawnion, we're on a mission to help owners understand their dog’s behaviour so that they can develop a better relationship with them through more personalized training methods. We believe that an enhanced relationship between humans and their pets can reduce the likelihood of pets being returned, with behavioural issues currently being the most significant contributing factor.


Role Overview: As a Marketing Content Writer at Compawnion, you'll be instrumental in crafting compelling, informative, and engaging content across various platforms. Working closely with our digital marketer and graphic designer, you will produce high-quality write-ups and copyright materials for our marketing campaigns. Additionally, you will collaborate with our dog training experts to develop written content for our training programs, ensuring our message resonates with dog owners everywhere.


Key Responsibilities:

·      Develop and write creative content for marketing materials, including but not limited to, website copy, blog posts, social media updates, email campaigns, and advertising copy.

·      Work closely with the digital marketing team to ensure all content is SEO optimized, driving maximum engagement and conversions.

·      Collaborate with the graphic design team to ensure textual and visual content alignment, enhancing the overall impact of our marketing materials.

·      Partner with our dog trainers to create compelling and educational content for our training programs, translating complex training methodologies into easy-to-understand guides for our users.

·      Conduct thorough research on industry-related topics to ensure content accuracy and relevance.

·      Edit and proofread content produced by other team members, maintaining a consistent and error-free brand voice across all platforms.

·      Analyze content performance metrics and use insights to improve content strategy and execution.


Qualifications:

·      Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, English, Journalism, or related field.

·      Proven experience in content writing or copywriting, preferably in a marketing team.

·      Exceptional writing and editing skills, with the ability to adapt style, tone, and voice to various content needs.

·      Experience in SEO and digital content optimization.

·      Strong research skills and attention to detail.

·      Ability to work collaboratively with a cross-functional team to meet tight deadlines.

·      Passion for the pet care industry and a basic understanding of dog behavior and training concepts is a plus.
