JD:

1. Data Visualization: Design interactive and visually compelling dashboards using Tableau, focusing on data visualization best practices.

2. SQL Proficiency: Utilize SQL for managing and analysing large volumes of data efficiently.

3. Data Analysis: Collaborate with customers to analyse historical data, identify key performance indicators (KPIs), and extract actionable insights.

4. Performance Optimization: Fine-tune SQL queries for optimal performance and responsiveness.

5. Report Delivery: Ensure the timely delivery of reports that align with stakeholder requirements.

6. Trend Analysis: Analyse data to identify trends, patterns, and insights for data-driven decision-making.

7. Mobile Dashboards: Implement Tableau mobile dashboards using Tableau Mobile application.

8. Data Population and Analysis: Work with Excel to populate and analyse data for reporting and visualization.

9. Recognizing areas for automation: Identify and recommend areas for process automation.

10. Data Security: Implement user filters to restrict data access for specific users, ensuring data security and privacy.

11. Documentation: Produce and maintain comprehensive support documentation, keeping existing documentation up-to-date.

Additional Responsibilities:

Business Understanding: Understand business requirements and strategize solutions to address data needs effectively.

Collaboration: Partner with tech teams and business professionals to establish data-driven policies and strategies across the organization.

Dashboard Development: Develop, design, and maintain Tableau dashboards and analytics for various business functions.

Data Preparation: Collect, refine, and prepare data for analytics and visualization.

Insight Extraction: Utilize the Tableau platform to extract meaningful insights from data and define new KPIs.

Data Integration: Collect data from various sources, normalize it, and ensure data accuracy.

Reporting: Prepare reports using various visualization and data modelling methods.

Access Control: Define access controls and implement security measures when necessary.

Accuracy: Drill-down data and prepare reports with a high degree of accuracy.

User Experience: Create wireframes and beta dashboards with a focus on user experience, correctness, and visibility.

Process Improvement: Continuously improve data management, collection, dashboard design, and the entire product life cycle.

Statistical Analysis: Apply algorithms and statistical methods to derive insights from data.

Performance Monitoring: Monitor reports and dashboards, making necessary adjustments.

Tableau Management: Actively manage Tableau implementations, architecture, and administration.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.

3-4 years of experience as a Tableau Developer with expertise in SQL.

Proficiency in data visualization and storytelling using Tableau.

Basic Salesforce administration knowledge is a must.

Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with stakeholders.

Work Environment:

This is a full-time position based in our Mumbai office.
