Job Title: Specialist in Single Cell and Spatial Transcriptomics (Contract)

Job Description: We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated specialist in single cell and spatial transcriptomics to support our client on a contract basis. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in bioinformatics with specific expertise in single cell analysis, and will contribute to cutting-edge projects in Immunology, Oncology, or Neuroscience.

Responsibilities:

• Perform single cell bioinformatics analysis using tools such as Scanpy, Seurat, scGPT, and GeneFormer.
• Develop and maintain bioinformatics pipelines.
• Collaborate with research team to interpret and analyze single cell and spatial transcriptomics data.
• Contribute to the understanding of immunology, oncology, or neuroscience through advanced data analysis.
• Prepare detailed reports and present findings to the research team.

Qualifications:

• A PhD or Master’s degree in Computational Biology, Data Science, Computer Science, or a related field.
• At least 1 year of full-time, hands-on experience with single cell bioinformatics analysis.
• Proficient in Python and single cell analysis tools (e.g., Scanpy, Seurat, scGPT, GeneFormer).
• Strong understanding of pipeline development and bioinformatics analysis.
• Background in Immunology, Oncology, or Neuroscience is preferred.
• Experience with single-cell annotation resources and graphical Python libraries is advantageous.
• Familiarity with cytometry and spatial omics data analysis is a plus.
