Position Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Marketing Executive to join our growing sports tech startup. In this role, you will be responsible for leading our social media strategy, building a thriving online community, creating engaging video content, and driving search engine optimization (SEO) initiatives to support the company's overall marketing and growth objectives.


Responsibilities:

  • Social Media Management:
  • Create and manage the company's social media pages across platforms like Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, and LinkedIn.
  • Develop a comprehensive social media strategy to increase brand awareness, engagement, and follower growth.
  • Curate and publish high-quality, on-brand content (text, images, and videos) to our social channels.
  • Monitor social media metrics, track performance, and optimize the content strategy accordingly.
  • Community Building:
  • Establish and nurture an active, engaged community on Instagram, fostering meaningful connections with our target audience.
  • Implement community-building tactics, such as user-generated content, influencer collaborations, and interactive polls/surveys.
  • Respond to comments and messages promptly, providing excellent customer service and building brand loyalty.
  • Analyze community engagement data and use insights to enhance the community-building efforts.
  • Video Content Creation:
  • Collaborate with the video production team to conceptualize, script, and edit videos that align with the brand's visual identity and marketing objectives.
  • Ensure the video content is optimized for various social media platforms and online distribution.
  • Continuously evaluate the performance of video content and make data-driven improvements.
  • SEO and Online Visibility:
  • Conduct keyword research and on-page optimization to improve the company's organic search rankings.
  • Implement effective SEO strategies, including content optimization, meta tags, and structured data.
  • Monitor website analytics and search engine performance, making adjustments to the SEO plan as needed.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest SEO trends and best practices to maintain a competitive edge.
  • Collaboration and Reporting:
  • Work closely with the marketing, product, and content teams to ensure a cohesive and effective marketing strategy.
  • Provide regular performance reports and data-driven insights to the leadership team.
  • Contribute to the overall marketing plan and suggest new initiatives to drive growth and engagement.


Requirements:

  • 2-4 years of experience in social media marketing, community management, and content creation.
  • Proven track record of building and engaging online communities, particularly on Instagram.
  • Proficiency in creating and editing video content using tools like Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar.
  • Strong understanding of SEO principles and experience in implementing effective search engine optimization strategies.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to tailor content for different platforms and audiences.
  • Analytical mindset and data-driven approach to decision-making.
  • Familiarity with the sports technology industry or a keen interest in sports and fitness is a plus.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team.
