Roles and Responsibilities:

  1. SAP Test Automation Management:
  • Lead the SAP test automation efforts using Worksoft Certify and ensure effective automation test coverage for SAP modules.
  • Develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts aligned with SAP business processes and requirements.
  1. SAP Test Delivery Management:
  • Oversee the end-to-end SAP test delivery lifecycle, including test planning, execution, defect tracking, and reporting.
  • Manage testing for SAP functional modules, ensuring alignment with project goals and timelines.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, business analysts, and SAP consultants, to resolve issues and optimize test processes.
  1. Test Leadership and Stakeholder Communication:
  • Act as the Test Lead for SAP projects, coordinating testing activities across onshore and offshore teams.
  • Provide regular updates to stakeholders on testing progress, risks, and mitigation plans.
  • Lead test strategy discussions, focusing on continuous improvement and adoption of best practices.
  1. Worksoft Test Automation Expertise:
  • Configure and maintain Worksoft Certify tools to meet project automation requirements.
  • Ensure smooth integration of automation frameworks with CI/CD pipelines for seamless execution.
  • Train and mentor team members on Worksoft tools and automation best practices.
  1. Quality Assurance:
  • Define and implement QA standards for SAP systems, ensuring adherence to quality and compliance requirements.
  • Perform root cause analysis for defects and ensure effective corrective actions.
  • Ensure deliverables meet client expectations and are within defined SLAs.
  1. Team Management and Knowledge Sharing:
  • Lead and guide a team of testers, ensuring high-quality deliverables and professional growth of team members.
  • Foster a culture of knowledge sharing by documenting processes and conducting workshops.

Mandatory Skills:

  1. Worksoft SAP Test Automation:
  • Strong hands-on experience in Worksoft Certify for SAP automation.
  • Proven track record of implementing and managing automation test suites.
  1. SAP Test Lead:
  • Extensive experience as an SAP Test Lead, managing large-scale SAP test delivery projects.
  • Strong knowledge of SAP functional modules (e.g., MM, SD, FICO).
  1. Experience:
  • 10+ years of overall experience with 7+ years in SAP test automation and management.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple stakeholders and deliver within tight timelines.


Desired/Secondary Skills:

  1. Worksoft SAP Test Automation Advanced:
  • Expertise in customizing Worksoft test scripts for complex SAP scenarios.
  1. SAP Functional Knowledge:
  • Understanding of SAP ECC, S/4HANA, and integration points.
  1. Tools and Frameworks:
  • Familiarity with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, Git) and test management tools (e.g., HP ALM, Jira).
  1. Soft Skills:
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication, team management, and leadership abilities.
