Fashion Assistant Internship Job Description:

Position Overview:

As a Fashion Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting our fashion team across various aspects of the business, including designing, market study, trend analysis, production, and social media management. You will assist in coordinating photoshoots, managing inventory, conducting market research, and providing general administrative support.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in designing and developing new concepts and collections, including creating sketches, selecting fabrics, and overseeing the production process.
  • Conduct market research to identify trends, fabrics, and styles, and provide insights to support decision-making.
  • Coordinate photoshoots, including preparing outfits, arranging accessories, and managing props.
  • Manage inventory records, including tracking samples and ensuring their timely return.
  • Provide general administrative support, including answering phones, responding to emails, and managing schedules.
  • Collaborate with designers, stylists, and other team members to ensure the timely completion of projects.
  • Assist in preparing for fashion shows, including organizing seating arrangements and coordinating backstage activities.
  • Manage social media accounts, including creating content, scheduling posts, and engaging with followers.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Fashion Design, Merchandising, or related field.
  • Previous experience in a fashion-related role is preferred.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and fashion design software.
  • Knowledge of current fashion trends and industry practices.
  • Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment and collaborate with a team.
