Miles Education is looking for experienced and driven Software Developers (Odoo) who can, with their expertise in Python, Xml, JavaScript, SQL, HTML, CSS, Git strategize, plan, execute and support significant growth for the comprehensive development of the company. The ideal candidate must possess a solid foundation in Python programming and demonstrated expertise in crafting and customizing modules within Odoo. As an Odoo Developer, you will be tasked with creating and managing Odoo modules and applications, writing code that is both clean and efficient, collaborating with stakeholders to identify requirements, conducting code reviews, and troubleshooting and resolving issues.

- Programming Languages: Python and JavaScript

- Database: PostgreSQL (With Object Relational Mapping)

- Collaboration Platform: GitHub

- Development Model: Open with external community

- Framework: Odoo (CRM, LMS, Workflows, Report Engine)

- Design and develop Odoo apps (new module development, customization).

- Develop and deploy Odoo modules from scratch.

- Collaborate with stakeholders, identify requirements and develop effective software solutions.

- Design, code, test, debug and document software according to the functional requirements.

- Conduct code reviews to ensure the quality and adherence to coding standards

- Integrate software components and third-party programs.

- Strong knowledge of Core Python and programming concepts.

- Working knowledge of PostgreSQL, Unix / Linux and Windows platform.

- Has experience working with various types of API

RESPONSIBILITIES :

- Design and develop integrated Odoo application using proper convention and design standards

- Analyze, diagnose and resolve errors related to the applications

- Develop solutions for our clients from many different industries, sectors and company size

- Provide support to maintain specific solutions

- Be responsible of what you develop

- Produce clean code and its documentation

- Capable to understand and maintain the existing odoo addons/Modules

MUST HAVE :

- Proven experience as an Odoo Developer with a strong portfolio of successful Odoo projects.

- In-depth knowledge of Odoo framework, architecture, and development best practices.

- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, JavaScript, and XML

- Experience with database management and SQL queries.

- Familiarity with web technologies including HTML, CSS, and web services (REST, SOAP).

- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving qualities

- Ability to work independently and multi-task effectively

- Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical team members.

- Experience with version control systems such as Git.

- Strong knowledge in relational databases (PostgreSQL, Oracle, MySQL)
