  • As a key member of the core planning team of the organization, incumbent will be responsible to prepare detailed Annual Operating Plan of the organization
  • Preparation of monthly rolling forecast basis actual trends
  • Competition benchmarking – ranking tables, financial benchmarking, comparison of public disclosure of various Life Insurance players on a regular basis and identifying key emerging trends of the industry
  • Owner of the financial model of the company and building scenario analysis basis change in channel mix, product mix, expenses etc. and coming up with financial results under different scenarios
  • Preparation of quarterly board presentation for business performance and monthly review meeting decks
  • Shareholder reporting and management: Proactive, agility, accuracy, relationship management
  • Periodic analysis performance of key business metrics


Qualification (Education And Experience)


CA (preferably 1st attempt) / MBA (from premier institute) with 3-5 years of experience in Strategic Planning and Budgeting, preferably in Life Insurance / Health Insurance / General Insurance / BFSI

  • Advanced MS Excel skill, efficient in financial modelling and scenario analysis
  • Excellent presentation skills – converting numbers into story for board presentations and monthly review meetings
  • Big data handling ability
  • Understanding of basic actuary principles of life insurance industry
  • Ability to deliver quick results within crunched timelines
  • Understanding of financials and business performance of Life Insurance companies and fixed expenses specific to LI / BFSI industry
  • Good Communication Skills
  • Interpersonal skills & proficiency in data management
  • Understanding of the digital ecosystems
