Job Title: Manager/Sr. Manager – Plant Operation

Job Type: On-Site

Location: Roorkee


Role & Responsibilities:

  • Managing the day to day plant operations effectively.
  • At least 10 years of experience with min 3 years in managing plant operations which includes;

-General Compliances

-Administration and security

-Plant Maintenance – Electrical & Mechanical

-Manpower management

-Production and Warehousing

-General Procurement

-MIS & Reports

  • KRA’s

-Estimate manufacturing costs and identify ways to reduce them.

-Allocate resources, such as equipment and personnel, to maintain production standards

-Collaborate with quality control teams to ensure finished goods meet quality standards

-Monitor production output and adjust processes as necessary to meet deadlines.

-Prepare, implement SOP’s across the various processes in the plant continuously identify strategies for improvement.

-Make decisions related to production, such as staffing and scheduling decision.

-Negotiate with suppliers and vendors to achieve cost-effective solutions.

-Create work schedules, assign tasks and coordinate manufacturing activities.

-Implement lean manufacturing methodologies and maintain the required standards.

-Ensure all compliance requirements are met.

-Ensure MIS for daily plant operations is shared with the stakeholders.
