Role Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Telco Architect to join our growing team. In this role, you will play a critical part in designing and delivering innovative telecommunications solutions to our customers. You will work closely with our engineering, sales, and customer teams to understand their needs and translate them into robust and scalable architectures.


Responsibilities:

  • Lead discussions on technical requirements, estimations, and proposals.
  • Resolve technical blockers/gaps for the engineering team to ensure timely deliverables.
  • Develop strategic relationships with our customers to become a trusted adviser for various offerings and solutions.
  • Provide presales technical support to Sales and Engineering teams.
  • Support evaluations of our offerings and technical proofs of concepts.
  • Respond to customer and partner inquiries, including requests for proposal (RFPs) and requests for information (RFIs).
  • Participate in technical discussions with Customers and 3rd parties to define E2E solution required by customers.
  • Guide and review technical offer deliverables: SoW, etc.
  • Drive and document overall deal solution strategy (product and services), interface with Engineering & Services to drive optimal scoping & cost structure to ensure competitivity and future up-sells.
  • Lead PoC/Trial proposals, including definition of trial scope, architecture, use cases and drive necessary management approvals.
  • Documentation of product architecture, requirements, and concepts in clear, concise and consistent specifications.
  • Ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
  • Ability to work well in a team environment and collaborate with others to provide the best solutions.
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities and manage multiple large transactions between multiple organizations.
  • Adapt to new technologies in a dynamic environment.


Mandatory Skills:

  • Required Technical and Professional Expertise:Minimum 8+ years** of experience working in the IT infrastructure industry.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Experience in networking or/and virtualization.
  • 5+ years of experience with solutions design or implementation from large HPC, complex application systems, cloud, multi-data center, and modernizing application environments, as well as multi-product integration.
  • Experience in designing of highly available systems with redundancy.
  • Experience in modern SW architectures with focus on modularity and reusability- like micro-services and container technologies.
  • Familiarity with enterprise solutions and architectures, including cloud, big data, virtualization, storage, middleware, clustering, and high availability.
  • Experience on RAN/ O-RAN (SMO, RIC, ORU/DU/CU)
  • Good knowledge of EPC/5G Core, Private 5G
  • Good knowledge of Network Slicing
  • Good knowledge of 3GPP standards
  • Good knowledge of Frameworks like AETHER, MANO etc
  • Good knowledge of data models like TOSCA, YANG
  • Experience in working with at least one of the major Public Cloud infrastructures (AWS, GCP, Azure)
  • Knowledge of Network Automation, Intent-based Networking, Orchestration Tools


Good to Have Skills:

  • Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise:Experience on Docker
  • Experience on Kubernetes
  • Hands-on programming experience on one or more programming languages like java/python/golang/c
  • Professional Certifications:
  • AWS Solution Architect Associate/Professional
  • GCP Associate Cloud Engineer /Architect Certification
  • TOGAF 9 Foundation/Certified


Qualifications:

  • B.E / B. Tech / M.E / M. Tech in Computer Science, Telecommunications, or a related field.
