Job Description


Kautilya School of Public Policy is looking to hire a self-starting, motivated individual as a Manager- Career fulfilment. We're seeking an experienced professional to spearhead our efforts in securing impactful internship and job opportunities for our students, both domestically and internationally. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of the policy landscape and be adept at forging crucial partnerships across various sectors, including public, private, governmental, and non-profit organisations.


Responsibilities


Client Engagement: 

  • Proactively establish connections with HR executives and key corporate figures to elevate the visibility and reputation of Kautilya School of Public Policy's student talent pool. 
  • Conduct targeted market research based on student specialisations. 
  • Align student profiles with suitable industries for internships and job placements.
  • Cultivate relationships with institutions and industries to identify employment prospects. 
  • Maintain a comprehensive database of employers and institutions to facilitate student placements.
  • Promote the job placement cell across diverse platforms and networks, including job fairs and promotional events.
  • Coordinate conclaves, seminars, and conferences to enhance industry partnerships through various channels of direct and indirect, cultural, and knowledge exchange. 
  • Coordinate with organisations during student internships and placement initiatives. 
  • Curate a repository of student CVs categorised by specialisation.
  • Provide regular placement status reports on a monthly, quarterly, and as-needed basis.
  • Develop success narratives and disseminate them through social media channels and E-Newsletters.

                     

   Student Support:

                              

  • Aid students in crafting online profiles and completing assessment forms and tests. 
  • Collaborate with faculty to promote Career Planning services through classroom presentations.
  • Facilitate employability skills workshops for students.
  • Conduct mock interviews to refine students' interview techniques.
  • Coordinate sessions and workshops focused on crafting resumes, implementing innovative job search techniques, establishing LinkedIn profiles, and work readiness skills.
  • Assess students' competencies and connect them with suitable opportunities.


Required Experience


  • MBA/MPP from top-tier university. 
  • Minimum 2 to 3 years of relevant experience, in placement roles at leading business schools or nationally renowned institutes.
  •  Preferably, membership in reputable HR networking organisations. 
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills, a collaborative mind-set, and a demonstrated ability to thrive in dynamic environments. 
  • Proficient in oral and written communication in English. 
  • Strong presentation skills. 
  • Proficiency in MS Office suite.


Remuneration: Will be as per experience and competency of the candidate.
