Job Description:


As a Business Analyst within our product development team, you will be responsible for bridging the gap between our business objectives and technical solutions. You will work closely with stakeholders from various departments to understand requirements, document specifications, and facilitate the development of high-quality products. Your expertise in gathering, analyzing, and documenting business and technical requirements will be essential in driving the success of our product initiatives.


Key Responsibilities:


  1. Business Requirements Analysis:
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to elicit, analyze, and document business requirements.
  • Conduct workshops, interviews, and surveys to gather comprehensive insights into business needs and objectives.
  • Translate business requirements into clear and concise Business Requirements Documents (BRDs) that outline functional specifications and acceptance criteria.
  1. Functional Requirements Definition:
  • Work closely with development teams to define functional requirements based on business objectives and BRDs.
  • Create detailed Functional Requirements Documents (FRDs) that specify system behavior, user interactions, and data flows.
  • Ensure alignment between business requirements and technical solutions throughout the development lifecycle.
  1. Documentation Management:
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including system architecture diagrams, data models, and API specifications.
  • Manage version control and documentation repositories to ensure accuracy, accessibility, and traceability of project artifacts.
  1. Test Case Development:
  • Collaborate with quality assurance teams to develop test cases and test plans based on functional and technical specifications.
  • Participate in test case reviews, execution, and defect tracking to ensure the quality and reliability of our products.
  1. Process Flow Analysis:
  • Analyze existing business processes and workflows to identify opportunities for optimization and automation.
  • Develop detailed process flow diagrams and workflow models to visualize current and future state processes.
  • Recommend process improvements and enhancements to streamline operations and enhance productivity.
  1. Product Messaging:
  • Work closely with marketing and communication teams to develop product messaging and positioning strategies.
  • Create compelling product documentation, including user guides, release notes, and training materials, to support sales and customer success initiatives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure consistent and effective product messaging across all channels.


Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, or related field.
  • Proven 4-5 Year of work experience as a Business Analyst in a product-based company, with a strong understanding of product development lifecycles.
  • Proficiency in eliciting and documenting business requirements, BRDs, FRDs, technical documents, and test cases.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment and interact with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Experience with process flow analysis and product messaging is highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools such as JIRA is a plus.
