We are seeking a passionate and detail-oriented Junior Design Assistant to join our growing design team. In this role, you will provide essential support to our designers in all aspects of the design process, from concept to production.


Responsibilities:

  • Assist in designing women's and kid's wear lines.
  • Collaborate with the design team to execute design line sheets.
  • Liaise with different departments (production, merchandising) to ensure smooth workflow and timely sample creation.
  • Maintain detailed records of incoming fabrics, trims, and design development.
  • Create flat sketches and technical drawings for garments.
  • Assist in fabric and trim sourcing.
  • Track sample, fabric, and trim updates, ensuring on-time delivery.
  • Photograph completed samples and maintain a visual record.
  • Update and maintain line sheets with accurate and complete information.
  • Utilize strong Excel skills to manage and organize data.
  • Create prints and graphics using Illustrator and Photoshop.
  • Assist in preparing for buyer meetings.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Fashion Design.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar role.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign).
  • Strong knowledge of garment construction and manufacturing processes.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
