Position Overview

ANJ Group is seeking a highly experienced and strategic Project Director to lead complex, multi-disciplinary project initiatives. This pivotal role encompasses comprehensive project lifecycle management, strategic planning, team leadership, client relationship management, and financial optimization. The ideal candidate will be someone driving operational excellence, managing complex project portfolios, and delivering exceptional business outcomes in design and construction industry.


Key Responsibilities

  1. Holistic Project Oversight
  • Provide end-to-end leadership for multiple complex projects simultaneously
  • Develop and implement robust project management strategies
  • Establish and maintain high-performance project delivery frameworks
  • Ensure seamless integration of design, construction, and delivery processes

2.Strategic Project Leadership

  • Provide end-to-end leadership for multiple complex projects simultaneously

3.Operational Excellence

  • Oversee project operations to guarantee timely completion within budgetary constraints
  • Implement advanced project management methodologies
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive project management tools and templates
  • Conduct regular performance audits and process improvement initiatives

4.Client Relationship Management

  • Conduct and oversee weekly client feedback calls
  • Develop and maintain strong, long-term client relationships
  • Ensure exceptional client satisfaction through proactive communication
  • Develop personalized communication strategies for diverse client portfolios
  • Act as the primary point of escalation for complex client concerns

5.Team Development and Mentorship

  • Provide strategic mentorship and guidance to project teams
  • Foster a culture of continuous learning and professional development
  • Implement performance management and evaluation systems
  • Create opportunities for cross-functional skill enhancement

6.Financial Management & Performance Optimization

  • Drive financial performance across project portfolios
  • Monitor and optimize project financials, including:
  • Budget tracking
  • Cost control
  • Revenue generation
  • Billing target achievement
  • Develop strategies for timely payment recovery
  • Resolve billing disputes efficiently and professionally
  • Implement financial reporting and analytics mechanisms

7.Resource Allocation & Optimization

  • Strategically allocate resources across multiple projects
  • Ensure optimal utilization of manpower, equipment, and budgetary resources
  • Develop resource allocation algorithms and predictive models
  • Implement cross-project resource sharing strategies

8.Compliance and Risk Management

  • Ensure strict adherence to contractual obligations and legal standards
  • Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation for all project phases
  • Proactively identify and address potential legal and regulatory challenges

9.Defect Liability Period (DLP) Management

  • Provide comprehensive client service during DLP
  • Implement robust defect tracking and resolution systems
  • Ensure prompt and effective response to post-project issues
  • Follow up on retention payments systematically
  • Maintain detailed documentation of all DLP-related interactions


Requirements and Skills

Education

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field
  • Advanced project management certifications preferred (PMP, Prince2)

Industry Experience

  • Minimum 15+ years of comprehensive experience in project management
  • Proven track record in design and construction industry
  • Extensive experience managing large-scale, complex projects
