Nursing Supervisor

We at Sukino Healthcare is looking for Nursing supervisor . Requirements are :
Attitudes and Behavior :
Possess the attitude to make the patient care the primary concern, treating every patient compassionately, demonstrating empathy and an aspiration to selflessness.
Seek to treat patients maintaining patient’s dignity, privacy, autonomy, and confidentiality.
Prepared to work as a team member, in manner that best serves patient’s interest
Prepared to understand and follow the Centre rules and regulations, and demonstrate positive attitude when it comes to additional duties required by the head of department or Centre administration.
Demonstrate professionalism in a manner, so as to serve as role model, and be willing to mentor the junior colleagues.
Key Role Areas:
1. Cleanliness of floors, patient’s rooms and environment.
2. Allotment of duties for staff, prepare monthly duty roster and manage the staff’s leaves and offs in coordination with the ND
3. Custody of emergency drugs. Records of their administration.
4. Indents for drugs and consumables and their distribution.
5. Maintenance of stock registers, inventories.
6. Interpretations of center’s policies & regulations and their implementation.
7. Check and maintain nursing records and registers. Check for proper documentation.
8. Investigation of complaints. Maintain incident reports.
9. Co-ordination and facilitating work of other staff, e.g. Physio therapist, occupational therapist, dietician, Respiratory and Speech therapists.
10. In-service training.
11. Orientation of new staff.
12. Maintaining good relationships among all categories of staff and with patients and their relatives.
13. Discipline of nursing and domestic staff. Reporting on absence of staff.
14. Confidential reports to the Nursing Director.
15. Rounds with medical staff and ND.
16. Participation in professional activities.
17. Direct patient care.
18. Any other duty as may be specified from time to time.
