Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a STEM Assistant at Myra’s Academy in Patna. The STEM Assistant will be responsible for supporting STEM education programs, assisting with hands-on practical activities, organizing workshops and events, and collaborating with teachers to enhance the learning experience for students.

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to join our Center of Excellence lab as support staff. The candidates role will be to assist in the day-to-day operations of the lab, provide instructional support to students during the class, and maintain a safe, disciplined and organized learning environment, maintaining documentation. This position requires a background in science and in computers (B.sc or BTech in Computers,). Person should have passion for fostering STEM education among young students.

Qualifications

• Experience in STEM education, hands-on practical activities, and workshop organization
• Knowledge of STEM subjects such as Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics
• Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
• Effective communication and collaboration abilities
• Attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work well in a team and with students of different age groups
• Interest in promoting practical skills development and STEM education
• Bachelor’s degree in STEM-related field or Education is a plus
