About the Role:

As a Mobile Device Management (MDM) Solution Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in driving the adoption and implementation of our MDM solutions within our client organisations. You will collaborate closely with sales, technical support, and product teams to ensure successful customer deployments and ongoing satisfaction.


Key Responsibilities:


Technical Expertise:

  • Deep understanding of MDM technologies, platforms, and best practices.
  • Proficiency in configuring and managing MDM solutions from leading vendors (e.g., Intune, MobileIron, Workspace ONE).
  • Knowledge of mobile operating systems (iOS, Android).
  • Experience with device enrolment methods, security policies, and app management.


Customer Engagement:

  • Conduct technical assessments to identify client requirements and challenges.
  • Develop and deliver tailored MDM solution proposals.
  • Provide technical guidance and support throughout the implementation process.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to clients, addressing their MDM-related questions and concerns.


Project Management:

  • Manage MDM projects from initiation to completion, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to scope.
  • Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure project success.
  • Monitor project progress and address any issues proactively.


Technical Support:

  • Provide technical support for MDM-related issues, troubleshooting problems and resolving incidents.
  • Develop and maintain knowledge base articles and documentation.
  • Stay updated on the latest MDM technologies and trends.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in MDM solutions or related technical roles.
  • Strong technical skills and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team. 
  • Strong customer focus and commitment to delivering exceptional service.


Desired Skills:

  • Certifications in MDM solutions (e.g., Microsoft Intune, IBM MaaS360, VMware Workspace ONE).
  • Experience with cloud-based MDM platforms.
  • Knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell, Python).
  • Experience with enterprise mobility management (EMM) solutions.
