Roles and Responsibilities:
- Responsible working out the New Product Development calendar with team which includes a pipeline of ideas
- Liaising with the team from initial concept and brief, product specification, manufacturing, sample approval to ensure delivery and launch of products on time.
- Understanding the customer experience combined with regular market research to identify and fill product gaps, generate new ideas that grow market share, improve customer experience and drive sales growth.
- Manage inventory management / reconciliation / vendor payment ledgers
- Meeting with suitable vendors to assess their products, inquire about their services, negotiate pricing, and communicate any product or service-related concerns.
- Conducting research on available vendors to determine which vendors offer the best pricing and product quality.
- Continually monitoring sales trends to determine which products are more popular than others.
- Conducting interviews with new vendors and informing approved vendors of their responsibilities and obligations.
- Evaluating current vendor management programs and identifying ways to improve them.

Experience:
- Proven experience (2-4 years) working as a New Product Development Specialist or any other relevant experience. (D2C Preferred)
- You will have experience of the New Product Development process and knowledge of how to bring a product to market, from initial concept through to stock in warehouse.
- Highly accurate with strong attention to detail
- Strong negotiation, management, and decision-making skills.
