Job Overview:


We are looking for an experienced Senior Backend Developer with expertise in Node.js, Java, JavaScript, Database (Any RDS),  and cloud technologies (preferably AWS) to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have 2+  years of experience with a strong background in building scalable and high-performance backend systems, as well as proficiency in working with databases, specifically PostgreSQL. As a Senior Backend Developer, you will play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining our backend infrastructure, ensuring it meets the highest standards of performance, security, and reliability. 


Responsibilities:

Backend Development:

Design and development of scalable and efficient backend systems using Node.js and JavaScript. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications. Implement best practices in coding, testing, and debugging to ensure the delivery of high-quality, maintainable code.

Cloud Services:

Utilize cloud services, preferably AWS, to architect and deploy scalable solutions. Design, implement, and maintain cloud infrastructure to support the backend services. Optimize performance, cost, and reliability of cloud-based systems.

Database Management:

Develop and maintain database schemas and queries, with a focus on PostgreSQL. Ensure data integrity, security, and optimal performance of database systems. Implement and optimize data storage and retrieval processes.

Monitoring and Optimization:

Implement monitoring and logging solutions to proactively identify and address potential issues. Continuously optimize backend systems for performance, scalability, and cost-effectiveness.

Security:

Implement and enforce security best practices in the development and deployment of backend services. Work closely with the security team to address vulnerabilities and ensure a secure architecture.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field with 2+ Experience.
  • Proven experience as a Backend Developer, focusing on NodeJS, ExpressJS, Authentications, JavaScript, Typescripts and RDBMS.
  • Experience with database design, management, and Performance Tuning, specifically RDS (i.e PostgreSQL).
  • Experience in TDD Development.
  • Knowledge of Pub-Subs like Kafka, RabitMQ, etc.
  • Knowledge of cloud technologies, preferably AWS.
  • Solid understanding of software development principles, design patterns, and best practices.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines(Jenkins) and containerization (Docker) is a plus.
