Role Description:

• This is a full-time on-site role as a Forging and Machining Operations head located in Pune and Chakan.
• Achieve SQDC targets set for Forging and Machining Operations through a defined process and system
• System to assure hourly, daily, weekly, monthly quality and production targets in all Operations and Processes
• Confidently communicate with Export Customers / Global OEs to address all customer requirements - Quality and OTD
• Achieve excellence in operations through a defined process - OEE per production unit
• Implement Theory of Constraints / Toyota Manufacturing System and 5 S on the shop floor
• Train HODs to measure and achieve SQDC objectives

Qualifications:

• Proven track record of achieving excellence in running forging and machining operations
• Experience with Auto and Non-Auto, Batch Type Production Components (weight from 5kg to 1000kg Single Piece)People Manager who builds the people, builds a 2nd line, builds the best team through Skills Development and Training
• Drives specific business functions through a Process - Monitor Plan vs. Actual - hourly, daily, weekly, monthly
• Creates value in specific business functions through driving process efficiency and cost reduction
