Role Overview:
Spencer’s Retail, part of the RP Sanjiv Goenka Group, is a leading multi-format retailer with a strong presence in food and grocery. As we expand our quick commerce platform, Jiffy, we are looking for an In-App Merchandiser to support merchandising execution, improve customer engagement, and optimize the shopping experience. If you are passionate about e-commerce, digital merchandising, and creating impactful customer experiences, this role offers the opportunity to make a strong impact in a fast-paced environment.
Major Roles & Responsibilities
- Manage in-app customer journey, ensuring a seamless and engaging shopping experience.
- Execute in-app marketing plans, category promotions, and campaigns to drive traffic and sales.
- Work on product catalog listing, updating, and optimization for discoverability and conversions.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams (category, sourcing, marketing) for timely execution.
- Monitor inventory availability and coordinate with category teams to prevent shortages.
- Track and analyze performance data, reporting key insights on engagement, conversion, and campaigns.
What we are looking for:
- 1-5 Years of experience in site merchandising or related field.
- Basic understanding of online merchandising, promotions, and customer behavior.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to collaborate effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Important Note:
- Candidates applying for the Bangalore location must be open to relocating to Kolkata for the initial 3 months of training and team integration.
