Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for an Automation Controls PLC, HMI, SCADA, LABVIEW Application engineer at CONFIA CONTROL SYSTEM located in Chennai. The Application engineer will be responsible for day-to-day tasks such as process automation, troubleshooting, creating and executing test cases, and ensuring quality assurance.


The Automation Controls Engineer will be responsible for designing, commissioning, and installing control systems for industrial machinery, such as Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs), Human-Machine Interfaces (HMIs), and Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) systems. The Automation Controls Engineer will also provide technical support, troubleshoot issues, and collaborate with cross-functional teams


Qualifications

  • Experience in process automation and troubleshooting
  • Ability to create and execute test cases for automation controls projects
  • Experience in the design, installation, commissioning, and troubleshooting of Industrial Automation Systems using PLC, HMI & SCADA applications
  • Expertise in PLC programming, HMI screen development, and SCADA application development using brands such as Rockwell, Siemens, Mitsubishi, Omron, or Schneider Electric, DELTA
  • Excellent knowledge of industrial automation protocols such as Modbus, Ethernet/IP, and Profibus
  • Hands on experience in Electrical panel design wiring
  • Knowledge of manufacturing and mechanical processes.
  • Experience in Maintenance or machine development.
  • Good analytical skills and the ability to solve problems
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
