LOCATION: Chennai
MISSION
As the Product Owner for the Cost & Sustainability Solution (CSS), you will be responsible for leading the product development process from conception to launch. You will work closely with cross-functional teams including software engineers, designers, and stakeholders to define product requirements, prioritize features, and ensure timely delivery of high-quality solutions.
Tasks & Responsabilities
- Collaborate with stakeholders (Product manager, internal and external customers) to gather and analyze requirements and translate them into clear user stories and product backlog items
- Create estimates of workload per requirement/feature and work with the product manager to prioritize requirements/features based on business value, customer feedback, and market trends, and thereby create a roadmap for product development
- Lead the development team to ensure the timely delivery of product increments, and facilitate sprint planning, review, and retrospective meetings
- Work closely with the support team to guarantee a complete and user-friendly documentation for the software solution
- Act as the primary point of contact for all product-related inquiries and communicate updates and progress to stakeholders
- Provide technical training to the Sales team and customers
- Act as an advocate for the customer, ensuring that their needs and pain points are addressed effectively in the product
Professional Background
- Masters's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field
- Proven experience (2 years) working as a Product Owner or similar role, preferably in software development or technology-driven companies
- Good English communication skills, able to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
- Strong understanding of agile methodologies, with experience working in Scrum or Kanban environments
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
- Solid analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen eye for detail and a data-driven approach to decision-making
- Experience in Agile Software Development
- (Preferred) Experience in cost or CO2 evaluations
- (Preferred) Familiarity with the automotive industry, especially product development cycles
- (Preferred) Experience with the .NET ecosystem and Azure cloud functionalities
