Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for an AutoCAD Drafter at Essen Fabricators Private Limited. The AutoCAD Drafter will be responsible for creating technical drawings, shop drawings, structural drawings and other related drawings. They will collaborate with architects and engineers to ensure accurate and detailed drawings. The AutoCAD Drafter will work at our office at Kolkata.


Qualifications

  • Strong proficiency in AutoCAD and technical drawing (Structural and Mechanical) skills
  • Experience in creating shop drawings and fabrication drawings
  • Knowledge in TEKLA will be an added advantage.
  • Knowledge of drawing standards and best practices as per engineering codes
  • Understanding various design drawings and capable of issuing detailed Bill of Materials (BOM)
  • Attention to detail and ability to accurately interpret design requirements
  • Ability to work collaboratively with designers and engineers
  • Good communication skills and ability to take initiative
  • Experience in the manufacturing or construction industry is a plus
  • Degree or certification in drafting, architecture, or related field is preferred
