Role Description

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Senior Project Engineer to lead and manage the construction of high-rise towers. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in high-rise construction projects, demonstrating expertise in engineering principles, project management, and team leadership. The Senior Project Engineer will be responsible for ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.


Qualifications

  • Project Management: Oversee and coordinate all aspects of high-rise tower construction projects from initiation to completion. Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation.
  • Engineering Oversight: Provide engineering expertise to ensure structural integrity, compliance with building codes, and adherence to safety regulations. Conduct regular site inspections and coordinate with design and engineering teams.
  • Stakeholder Coordination: Serve as the primary point of contact between the company, subcontractors, suppliers, and clients. Facilitate effective communication and collaboration to resolve issues and ensure project goals are met.
  • Quality Assurance: Implement and monitor quality control procedures to ensure that construction meets all project specifications and industry standards. Address and resolve any quality issues that arise.
  • Risk Management: Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies. Monitor project progress and address any delays or challenges promptly.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Prepare and maintain comprehensive project documentation, including progress reports, change orders, and compliance records. Provide regular updates to senior management and stakeholders.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and mentor junior engineers and other project staff. Foster a collaborative and productive work environment.
  • Compliance: Ensure that all construction activities adhere to local building codes, safety regulations, and environmental standards. Coordinate inspections and approvals as required.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or a related field. A Master’s degree or professional certifications (e.g., PMP, PE) is a plus.
  • Experience: Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in high-rise tower construction projects, with at least 3-5 years in a senior or lead engineering role.
  • Technical Skills: Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and engineering principles specific to high-rise buildings. Proficiency in project management software and construction management tools.
  • Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead and manage multidisciplinary teams, with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a keen attention to detail.
  • Regulatory Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of building codes, safety regulations, and industry best practices related to high-rise construction.

Preferred Attributes:

  • Project Management Certification: PMP or similar certification.
  • Software Proficiency: Familiarity with BIM software, structural analysis tools, and project management platforms.

 

Work Environment:

  • Ability to work on-site and in an office environment.
  • May require occasional travel to construction sites.
