Position Title: YouTube Thumbnail Artist

Reports To: YouTube Growth and Channel Manager

Job Type: Full-Time

We are looking for a talented and innovative YouTube Thumbnail Artist to join our creative team. The primary responsibility of this role is to create attractive and high CTR (Click-Through Rate) thumbnails for various YouTube channels owned by the company, ranging from animated family drama stories to LGBTQ romance videos. The ideal candidate will be adept at using AI tools to create effective thumbnails and graphics that drive maximum clicks and engagement.

Thumbnail Creation:

• Design eye-catching and high-quality thumbnails for a diverse range of YouTube content.
• Ensure that thumbnails are visually appealing, accurately represent the video content, and are optimized for maximum CTR.
• Utilize AI tools and graphic design software to enhance the quality and effectiveness of thumbnails.

Creative Strategy and Optimization:

• Collaborate with the content and marketing teams to understand the themes and objectives of each video.
• Conduct A/B/C testing of different thumbnail designs to determine the most effective strategies.
• Stay updated with YouTube’s best practices and trends to continuously optimize thumbnail designs.

Project Management:

• Manage multiple thumbnail projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and consistency in quality.
• Organize and maintain a library of assets and templates for efficient workflow.

Cross-Channel Consistency:

• Maintain a cohesive visual identity across all thumbnails, aligning with the brand guidelines of each YouTube channel.
• Adapt and tailor designs to suit various genres, including animated family drama stories and LGBTQ romance videos.

AI and Tool Utilization:

• Leverage AI tools and software to create, enhance, and optimize thumbnails efficiently.
• Stay informed about new technologies and tools that can improve the design process and output.

Collaboration and Communication:

• Work closely with the YouTube Growth and Channel Manager to align thumbnail designs with overall channel strategy.
• Communicate effectively with the content creators, scriptwriters, and video production teams to ensure a clear understanding of video content and themes.

• Proven experience in graphic design, with a strong portfolio showcasing YouTube thumbnail designs.
• Proficiency in graphic design software (e.g., Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Canva).
• Experience using AI tools for graphic design (e.g., DALL-E, MidJourney, Leonardo AI).
• Strong understanding of visual aesthetics, color theory, and typography.
• Creative thinking and the ability to conceptualize visually appealing designs quickly.
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to high-quality output.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

• Experience in digital marketing and understanding of YouTube analytics.
• Familiarity with different genres of content, particularly animated family drama and LGBTQ romance.
• Knowledge of current trends in YouTube and digital content creation.
