About the RoleAffluense.ai is looking for a Financial Data Research Analyst to build the most accurate and reliable database of High Net Worth Individuals in India and globally. You will work at the intersection of finance, data, and analysis, validating net worth signals, understanding corporate structures, decoding ESOPs, funding events, IPO filings, shareholding patterns and more.This role requires someone who is strong with numbers, logical reasoning, financial understanding, and excited by the challenge of making our wealth-scoring engine world-class.Key ResponsibilitiesValidate and refine HNI/UHNI net worth estimates using multiple financial and public signals.Analyse ESOP allocations, liquidity events, startup funding rounds, M&A filings, DRHPs, MCA filings, and shareholding structures.Build frameworks to calculate likely wealth, salary ranges, equity value, and asset indicators.Work closely with the Data Science team to improve wealth scoring models and signal accuracy.Collaborate with the data operations team to ensure correct mapping, entity resolution, and profile completeness.Identify data gaps and design logic-based rules to estimate wealth more accurately.Bring insights on patterns in HNI wealth creation, executive compensation, founder equity structures, etc.Contribute to new features around wealth scoring, financial footprint, career trajectories, and inferred signals.RequirementsStrong understanding of startup funding, ESOPs, equity structures, valuations, cap tables, and financial statements.Experience working with financial / valuation modelsExcellent analytical skills and comfort with numbers.Ability to break down complex financial events into logical, structured insights.Experience with financial research, valuations, investment research, or equity analysis is a plus.Ability to work with data teams, DS teams, and product teams.Curious, detail-oriented, and driven to build accurate, high-quality intelligence.Hands-on with Excel, Python (good to have)This role blends finance, quantitative thinking, and product intelligence — ideal for someone wanting to shape the future of wealthy-prospect intelligence globally.Budget for the role: 4-8 L (Cash+Esop)Please fill in the below mandatory form to apply for the role:https://forms.gle/ja8NdPRvwuRSDe5A9
