About Nference:

At nFerence Labs, the "Google of Biomedicine" (See nference.ai/media ). We are building the world's first large-scale computational platform for reverse engineering biology.

Our platform is premised on using AI and high-performance computing to connect clinical observations (phenotypes) to DNA-level phenomena (genotypes); in the process helps unravel biology, as well as help pharma companies, perform faster and more efficient drug discovery, and helps early diagnoses of several key diseases.

We collaborate heavily with premier medical research institutions to get medical insights from patient information including multiple modalities: text, lab data, images, ECGs, etc.

Designation: Senior Software Engineer (Frontend)

Experience Range: 3 to 6 yrs

Job Location: Bangalore, India

Job Description:

  • Own and build features using design and API mocks and write contracts, integration & unit

tests for features build

  • Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders, including back-end developers and web designers.

Required Skills:

  • 4+ years of proven work experience as a Front End Developer.
  • Deep understanding of core javascript and its fundamentals.
  • Familiarity with popular JavaScript tools, frameworks and design principles.
  • Good understanding of REST API
  • Ability to build a feature from scratch & drive it to completion
  • A willingness to learn new technology, whatever lets you deliver the best product
  • Good design and product thinking

Desired skills (good to have):

  • Experience with responsive and adaptive design principles.
  • Experience with building mobile apps
  • Have a few weekend side projects up on GitHub
  • Have contributed to an open-source project
  • Have a working knowledge of a backend programming language
