Purpose of Position:

We are seeking a highly organized and dynamic R&D Data Analyst to join our Research and Development team. This role is critical in supporting our R&D efforts through the analysis of datasets to match project requirements, assist in development of algorithms and data transformations, and ensure mathematical rigor of developed solutions.

Major Areas of Responsibility:

Data Management and Analysis:

Integrating and cleaning data to make it fit for purpose.

Identifying, validating, and utilizing available data sets generated from a diverse range of processes.

Developing hypotheses and exploring data using models and analytics sandboxes.

Provides advice and guidance to others using the data structures and associated components.

Investigates data requirements where there is some complexity and ambiguity.

Presentation and Reporting:

Advises on the appropriate use of data visualization for different purposes and contexts to satisfy requirements.

Develops plans showing how identified user needs will be met.

Operationalizes and automates activities for efficient and timely production of data visuals.

Collaborative Team Support:

Work closely with R&D team members to gather data and insights.

Assist in the preparation of documentation and reports for internal and external stakeholders.

Participate in team meetings, providing updates and insights from data analyses.

Process Improvement:

Continually seek ways to improve data management and development processes.

Implement best practices in data handling and visualization.

Knowledge and Experience:

Proven experience in data analysis, and reporting.

Proficiency in Jira, and Confluence.

Excellent organizational and time-management skills.

Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.

Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

Proactively understand reporting needs.

Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Data Science, Business Administration) is preferred.

Experience in Tableau and Python is a plus.
