Ab Initio Developer

Job Overview:We are seeking a skilled Ab Initio Developer to design, develop, and maintain scalable ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes using the Ab Initio platform. The developer will be responsible for building data pipelines, ensuring data quality, optimizing performance, and collaborating with business and technology teams to deliver enterprise data solutions.Key Responsibilities:Build customer facing technology product for global customerDesign and develop end to end applications with very high qualityPartner with multiple Product Owners and/or teams to document business needs/requirements and associated processesAbstract away complex data interactions with easy-to-use APIs that will power web applicationsLead the creation of all design review artifacts during project design phase, facilitate design reviews, capture review feedback and schedule additional detailed design sessions as necessaryContinuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiencyStay updated with the latest industry trends and develop a deep understanding of the start-up ecosystemDevelop a sense of ownership and the zeal to build scalable applicationsUnderstand the market and participate in product roadmap discussionsWork with business users to translate requirements into system flows, data flows, data mappings etc., and develop solutions to complex business problemsRequired Skills:Strong experience on Ab Initio tools and technologies (GDE, Co>Op, Express>It, Metadata Hub, DQA, etc.)Should have hands-on development experience with various Ab Initio components such as Rollup, Scan, join, Partition by key, Partition by Round Robin, Gather, Merge, Interleave, Lookup, etc. Experience to build systems that involve batch as well as continuous data processing at scaleGood to have Ab Initio Framework experience on CI(Collect Integrate), Testing Framework.Strong working knowledge with SQL, shell scripting and databases like Oracle, MSSQL, MySQL, hadoop/hive, Kafka, Postgres, etc.Love technology and have a knack for picking the right set of tools for the job at hand.Interested in learning Technical data analysis/ modelling using Excel/R/Power BI/SAS/STATA or similar platforms.Should have strong technical experience in Design (Mapping specifications, HLD, LLD), Development (Coding, Unit testing) using Ab InitioExperience in designing and delivering complex, large-volume data warehouse applicationsUnderstanding of database architecture & design patterns.Strong concepts of Data Structures & Algorithms and a passion for codingGood to have Data processing experience with open-source tools like spark, airflow, etc.Good to have experience with Cloud Data technologies with any cloud provider viz.
