Job Overview:

The Technical Project Manager serves as a critical liaison between clients and the internal software development and design teams. This role requires strong communication skills to gather and understand client requirements and technical knowledge to ensure the successful delivery of software projects. The ideal candidate will have experience in managing projects, understanding software development processes, and collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.

 

Key Responsibilities:

1. Client Communication:

·    Act as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring clear and effective communication.

·    Understand and translate client needs and requirements into actionable project plans.

·    Conduct regular status meetings with clients, providing updates and addressing concerns or changes in scope.

·    Facilitate client feedback and ensure client satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.


2. Requirements Gathering & Analysis:

·    Collaborate with clients to gather detailed business and technical requirements.

·    Document project specifications, use cases, and client expectations.

·    Ensure a thorough understanding of the client’s business objectives and goals.

3. Project Planning & Management:

·    Create detailed project timelines, budgets, and resource plans.

·    Assign tasks and set deadlines for the software development and design teams.

·    Monitor the progress of projects to ensure on-time delivery and adherence to the scope.

·    Identify risks, resolve issues, and handle changes in project scope as necessary.


4. Collaboration with Development & Design Teams:

·   Work closely with software developers and designers to ensure requirements are understood and executed.

·   Provide technical and business insights to the development team for efficient project execution.

·   Review deliverables before presenting them to clients to ensure they meet requirements and quality standards.

·   Facilitate communication between developers, designers, and the client to ensure alignment on project goals.


5. Technical Understanding:

·    Possess a solid understanding of software development methodologies (Agile, Scrum, etc.).

·    Have a foundational understanding of technologies used in software development (e.g., programming languages, databases, frameworks).

·  Work with technical leads to resolve complex technical issues and make informed decisions about project feasibility.


6. Post-Project Support:

·   Ensure successful project deployment and follow-up with clients for feedback and necessary support.

·   Provide post-launch maintenance and troubleshooting coordination if needed.


Key Skills & Qualifications:

·   Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.

·  Experience: 4+ years in a project management or client-facing role, ideally within a software development environment.

 

Technical Skills:

·  Understanding of software development processes (SDLC).

·  Basic knowledge of web and mobile technologies, programming languages, and UX/UI design principles.


Soft Skills:

·  Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

·  Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.

·  Problem-solving mindset and ability to work under pressure.

·  High attention to detail and commitment to delivering quality results.


Employment Type:

·  Full-Time


Salary Range:

·  Competitive, based on experience and qualifications. (Between 6 to 8 Lacs per anum)


This role is crucial for bridging the gap between clients and internal teams, ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to client specifications. A successful candidate will have both the technical acumen and the communication skills necessary to manage client expectations and team execution effectively.
