Business Function

Risk Management Group works closely with our business partners to manage the bank’s risk exposure by balancing its objective to maximise returns against an acceptable risk profile. We partner with origination teams to provide financing, investments and hedging opportunities to our customers. To manage risk effectively and run a successful business, we invest significantly in our people and infrastructure.

Job Purpose

The position ensures:

· Risk Assessment: Conduct comprehensive risk assessments to identify potential threats and vulnerabilities within the Collections operation.

· Compliance Monitoring: Monitor and track regulatory changes with respect to RBI and MAS(Singapore Monitory Authorities), ensuring that the organization remains compliant with all relevant guidelines, standards, and Banking regulations.

· Policy Development: Assist in the development, implementation, and revision of Collection SOP and Strategy documents so as to align with best practices and compliance requirements.

· Audit Support: Collaborate with internal and external audit teams, providing documentation and evidence as needed to demonstrate compliance and adherence to governance standards within Collection unit.

· Incident Response: Develop and maintain incident response & plans to effectively address and mitigate breaches or compliance violations.

· Reporting: Prepare and distribute regular reports to management and stakeholders summarizing risk assessments, compliance status, and recommendations for improvement along the lines of RCSA.Monitoring and updating the KRI and RCSA

· Training and Awareness: Develop and deliver training programs to educate employees on governance, risk, and compliance matters, fostering a culture of awareness and accountability within the guardrails of Collection standard of the Bank.

· Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for enhancing governance processes and recommend improvements to reduce risk exposure and enhance operational efficiency.


Required Experience

• At least 10 years of total experience in the relevant field

Education / Preferred Qualifications

Graduation degree with technical skills

Core Competencies

• Banking domain knowledge

• Good knowledge on collections governance and processes

• Good analysis & evaluation skills

• Good communication & presentation skills

• Good team player or able to work individual

Technical Competencies

• Hands on Knowledge of Microsoft products like Excel, Access , Powerpoint, Word

• Technical skill will be an added advantage

Work Relationship

• Interactions within Collection team

• Interactions with all the stakeholders within & outside the bank.
