The ideal candidate should have a strong background in network security, a deep understanding of cybersecurity principles, and proficiency in designing and implementing secure network environments.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Security Architecture:

 Design and implement end-to-end network security architectures, integrating switching, routing, and firewall technologies to protect against advanced cyber threats.

 Develop security solutions that align with the organization's specific network infrastructure needs.

2. Network Security Policies:

 Develop and enforce network security policies, standards, and procedures, ensuring they are integrated with switching, routing, and firewall configurations.

 Collaborate with stakeholders to align security policies with business objectives and regulatory requirements.

3. Routing and Switching:

 Design and optimize routing protocols to enhance network efficiency and security.

 Implement and manage switching technologies to segment and secure network traffic.

4. Firewall and Intrusion Prevention Systems (IPS):

 Design, configure, and manage firewall and IPS solutions to monitor and protect network traffic, considering routing and switching implications.

 Ensure firewall rules and configurations align with security policies and best practices.

5. VPN Technologies:

 Implement and manage Virtual Private Network (VPN) solutions, considering routing and switching aspects, to secure remote access and communication between distributed networks.

 Configure and troubleshoot VPN connections to ensure confidentiality and integrity of data.

6. Security Audits and Compliance:

 Conduct regular security audits, including assessments of switching, routing, and firewall configurations, to identify vulnerabilities and recommend mitigation strategies.

 Ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR).

7. Incident Response:

 Develop and maintain incident response plans, including considerations for switching, routing, and firewall-related incidents.

 Collaborate with the incident response team to investigate and mitigate security breaches.

8. Security Awareness Training:

 Provide training and awareness programs to educate employees on security best practices, including aspects related to switching, routing, and firewalls.

 Foster a culture of security awareness throughout the organization.

Qualifications and Skills:

 Bachelor's or Master's degree in Information Security, Computer Science, or a related field.

 Proven experience in network security architecture, with expertise in switching, routing, and firewalls.

 In-depth knowledge of networking protocols, security technologies, and encryption protocols.

 Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles, risk management, and threat intelligence.

 Certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, CISSP, CISM, CCSP, or equivalent are highly desirable.

 Proficiency in security assessment tools and techniques.

 Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Working Conditions:

 This position may require occasional travel to different office locations or data centers.

 Participation in an on-call rotation for responding to security incidents may be required.

Experience:

 8-10 Years in relevant field.
