Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chartered Accountant with a strong background in fund raising and investment banking. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing financial operations, driving fundraising initiatives, and supporting investment banking activities to achieve the company's financial objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
Fund Raising:
Develop and implement fundraising strategies to secure capital for company growth and expansion.
Identify potential investors and funding sources, including venture capital, private equity, and institutional investors.
Prepare comprehensive business plans, financial models, and investment proposals.
Conduct due diligence and coordinate with legal, compliance, and finance teams to ensure successful fund raising processes.
Build and maintain strong relationships with investors, banks, and financial institutions.
Investment Banking:
Provide strategic advice on mergers, acquisitions, and other corporate finance transactions.
Conduct financial analysis, valuation, and risk assessment for potential investment opportunities.
Prepare detailed reports and presentations for senior management and stakeholders.
Coordinate and manage the execution of investment banking transactions, including negotiations and closing processes.
Stay updated with market trends, regulations, and industry developments to provide informed recommendations.
Financial Management:
Oversee financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting activities.
Ensure compliance with accounting standards, regulatory requirements, and internal controls.
Monitor financial performance, analyze variances, and implement corrective actions.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive financial efficiency and cost optimization.
Prepare and present financial reports to the board of directors and senior management.
Qualifications:
Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification.
5 to 10 years of proven experience in fund raising and investment banking, preferably within the real estate or related industry.
Strong understanding of financial markets, investment strategies, and fundraising processes.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and financial modeling skills.
Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Proficient in financial software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Preferred Skills:
Experience in real estate finance or a related field.
Knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
Strong network of industry contacts and investors.
