Job Description:

  1. Collaborate with software developers, system administrators, and other stakeholders to design and implement automated CI/CD pipelines for software delivery.
  2. Build and maintain infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation to provision and configure cloud resources.
  3. Implement and manage containerization and orchestration solutions using Docker and Kubernetes for deploying and scaling microservices-based applications.
  4. Monitor and troubleshoot production systems to ensure high availability, performance, and reliability using monitoring tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK stack.
  5. Implement security best practices and compliance requirements in DevOps processes and infrastructure, including secure code scanning, vulnerability management, and access controls.
  6. Automate routine tasks and workflows using scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell to improve operational efficiency.
  7. Collaborate with development teams to streamline the release management process, including code reviews, testing, and deployment automation.
  8. Participate in on-call rotation and incident response activities to address production issues and minimize downtime.
  9. Stay up-to-date on emerging technologies and best practices in DevOps and cloud computing, and recommend innovative solutions to improve development and operations workflows.

Requirements:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  2. Minimum of 1+ years of hands-on experience in DevOps or related field.
  3. Strong understanding of DevOps principles and practices, including continuous integration, continuous delivery, and infrastructure as code.
  4. Experience with cloud computing platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
  5. Proficiency in scripting and automation using languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
  6. Experience with configuration management tools such as Ansible, Puppet, or Chef.
  7. Knowledge of containerization and orchestration tools such as Docker and Kubernetes.
  8. Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK stack.
  9. Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
  10. Relevant certifications such as AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Azure DevOps Engineer Expert, or Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) are preferred but not required.
