What will you do?
As a Risk & Compliance Analyst, you are part of the team that helps our colleagues to provide services in a compliant environment. The team is constantly supporting our different business units to minimize risk around security and quality in addition to complying with relevant law and regulations. In this role your focus is to support the organization to achieve its objective while having sufficient control over information risk, controls, and the effectiveness of these controls.
At Plat4mation our assurance strategy is centered around ISO9001 for quality and ISO27001 for information security. You will proactively maintain contact with all relevant stakeholders and partners and will support the CISO with the implementation of the standards, the operational monitoring, and continuous improvement activities. With your knowledge and experience in information security, risk management, compliance and governance, you will act subject matter expert within the organization.
Scope of work:
- Monitor and ensure compliance with relevant data protection laws and regulations such as GDPR or other privacy law. Support the internal risk assessments, identify areas of potential technical and process vulnerability, and recommend compensating controls.
- Evaluate and maintain up-to-date knowledge of the effectiveness of standards and compensating controls in mitigating IT risk.
- Interact with Internal/External Audit and IT teams to ensure on-going Compliance with company IT security policies and standards.
- Provide support and guidance on data protection impact assessments (DPIAs) and ensure their completion where necessary Maintain thorough documentation related to Data Protection requirements and processes and generate comprehensive records of processing activities (RoPA) as needed.
- Understand the balance between technical security measures and potential organizational mitigating measures. You identify various Information security themes across our estate and push for continuous improvement. You perform well under pressure.
- Used to working in an international environment - English is necessary
- Cultural sensitivity is important, as you will work with different nationalities
- Help maintain operations required for maintaining an ISO27001/ISO9001 compliant organization.
We ask
- Bachelors or master’s degree in any field of IT or Information Science
- 1-2 years of Work experience in auditing, corporate governance, data protection, risk management or internal controls.
- Thorough technical understanding of internal control requirements and design and experience in applying them in various businesses.
- Able to split large tasks into logical, manageable, and decoupled actions which are managed effectively and delivered on time.
- Be flexible and agile in response to the change in business, change in stakeholder expectations and/or change in regulatory/operating environment.
- Self and resourceful to achieve goals independently as well as work well in groups.
- Quality focused, problem solving, creativity, planning and organizing, flexibility and communication skills are competences that you excel in.
- Willing to work at least 3 days from our office in Bangalore, India
