Work Location: Chennai & Bangalore


JD NO: 1 - AbInitio Developer

Exp :7+ Years


  • Responsible for developing the fast, secure, scalable and maintainable applications using AbInitio product suite, that will make us stand out from the crowd by ensuring the quality and enabling Company employees to do their work effectively.
  • Roles and Responsibilities
  • Responsible for design, development and maintenance of the data lake built using AbInitio framework on big data ecosystem.
  • Implement end-to-end ETL Data Integration solutions using AbInitio
  • Work with Data Modelers, Business Analysts to understand business needs, translate business requirements into system functionality, and ensure that results meet established needs, goals, and timelines.
  • Responsible to create Source to Target mapping artefact and presenting in governance and approval forums
  • Translate business requirements into technical design documents
  • Tracking all levels of the normal, recurring, critical batch failures in the application level and giving the permanent resolution code fix by using a problem record in production environment.
  • Provide support during the application delivery times and able to handle the issues during the production deployments.
  • Automating the daily manual workarounds using the shell scripts in the production environment to reduce the unwanted manual efforts.
  • Coordinate with offshore scrum teams to make sure project tasks are executed on time with customer agreed quality.

Education Qualification, Experience and Expertise

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering.
  • At least 5-7 year’s experience with the following technologies : AbInitio, Oracle 11g, Hive, HDFS
  • Scripting Language :Unix and Python
  • Databases : Oracle and Hive
  • Tools : Jira, Confluence
  • Scheduling Tools : Control center (AbInitio product)
  • Experience with one or more of the broader Ab Initio tool suite such as Express>IT, Conduct>IT, Metadata Hub, Control Center is required.
  • Ability to demonstrate knowledge of advance Ab Initio concepts such as, project architecture, meta-programming, vectors, parallelism, performance tuning, debugging, SMP/MPP architectures, platform integrations (Hadoop, Java, C, etc.)
  • Advanced understanding of ETL processes and practices, ideally having implemented an ETL system before.
  • Advanced SQL skills. Able to build solutions that are fit for purpose, perform well with large data volume and complex data transformation rules, and reliable to operate.
  • Strong knowledge of data structures including time variant and dimensional models, algorithms
  • Excellent communication, presentation skills and leadership skills.
  • Experience working in an agile project development lifecycle
  • CI/CD, Jenkins, automation expérience a plus.


JD NO: 2 Abinitio Platform Engineer

Experience: 7+ Years

  • Knowledge on administration of Ab Initio suite of products – Co>Op, GDE, Express>It, Control Center, Query>It, Metadata Hub
  • Good knowledge on Unix commands.
  • Ability to read, understand and create shell scripts
  • Experience with DevOps and Automation tools to automate the manual tasks.
  • Working knowledge on Ab Initio admin activities is required.
  • Working experience in banking domain is preferable.
  • Improve application availability by implementing proactive measures
  • Contribute to the documentation of Knowledge articles and support procedures
  • Identify continuous improvements of the system analysis practice and process


JD NO: 3 Abinitio Developer

Experience Range : 5-10 Years

  • Experience in batch flows
  • Worked in Conduct> It, S graphs, psets, PDLs and meta programming and BRE
  • Experience of handling different types of files such as JSON,XML,CSV, EXCEL etc
  • Basic Idea of ICFF
  • DATA model design
  • Good communication and Problem solving skills
  • Ability to coach and mentor team members as needed.
  • Agile way of working


Good to have:

  • Experience of continuous flows and Real time services
  • Good knowledge of using the scheduler control center.
  • Detailed Idea of ICFF
  • Integration experience with different data transmission mechanism such as MQ, XCOM, API, Database, FTP .
  • DATA model design
  • Designed template, appconf and BRE.
