At Eumo, in your role as an architect, your day-to-day tasks will consist of creating engaging spaces with the innovative expression of form, texture and material. You must possess an ability to bring concepts to life with skillful visualisation.


As part of your role, we expect an understanding of our client’s needs and the ability to respond to their functional and creative requirements with conceptual ease.


Role Description


As an Architect, your skillsets will include an understanding of planning, design and material use. You will use your knowledge, expertise and skills to develop user-centred projects across residential, retail, commercial and hospitality projects.


Responsibilities include


  • Research, plans, designs, and administer building projects for clients, applying knowledge of architectural design, construction detailing, construction procedures, zoning and building codes, and building materials and systems.
  • Produce conceptual plans, renderings, and documents.
  • Coordinate and integrate engineering elements into unified design for client review and approval.
  • Utilize computer-assisted design software and equipment to prepare project designs and plans.
  • Produce construction documents using architectural software and create 3D rendering as necessary.
  • Work with the Project Manager, direct, supervise, and collaborate with team members to prepare drawings and specification documents for the Conceptual Design Phase, Schematic Design Phase, and/or the Detailed Design Phase of a project.
  • Work in tandem with highly collaborative multi-discipline design teams.
  • Research and coordination of materials and products for project specifications.


Education Requirements:


  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in architecture from an accredited institution
  • 2+ years of architectural experience is preferred
  • Understanding and knowledge of building codes, zoning regulations, building construction, building systems and site requirements
  • Proficiency in architectural software programs and Microsoft office suite is required, any additional software usage to benefit the output would be advantageous.
