SourceFuse Technologies hiring Senior Java Developer with 5+ years of experience.


Overview:

The Senior Software Engineer will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality software solutions. This role requires a deep understanding of software engineering principles, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.


Key Responsibilities:

● Design, develop, and maintain scalable and efficient software applications.

● Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.

● Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices.

● Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.

● Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve software defects and issues.

● Mentor and guide junior engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement. ● Participate in the full software development lifecycle, including requirements gathering, design, development, testing, and deployment.

● Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends, and apply them to improve existing systems and processes.

● Ensure software solutions are secure, scalable, and performant.

● Contribute to the development of technical documentation and user guides.


Qualifications:

● Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

● 5+ years of professional software development experience.

● Proficiency in programming languages Java, Python, JavaScript.

● Experience with Spring Boot, Struts, Spring Cloud, Blade, Spark Framework, Elasticsearch and Spring Microservices.

● Strong understanding of software development methodologies, including Agile and Scrum.

● Experience with Service Mesh, Service Discovery, Routing tools and technologies such as: Istio, Consul, Zoo Keeper, zuul, linkerd, envoy, etc.

● Experience with Metrics, Monitoring & Alerting tools such as: Catchpoint, Sensu, Prometheus, Nagios, Zabbix, Influx DB, Graphite, Grafana, Datadog, etc.

● Experience with APM tools such as: New Relic, Dynatrace, Jaegar etc.

● Experience with Log Management tools such as: ELK stack, Splunk, etc.

● Experience developing and consuming REST APIs.

● Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.

● Knowledge of database systems, both SQL and NoSQL.

● Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

● Strong communication and collaboration skills.

● Experience with version control systems, such as Git.

● Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.


Preferred Qualifications:

● Experience with microservices architecture and containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).

● Knowledge of front-end technologies (e.g., HTML, CSS, JavaScript frameworks).

● Experience with automated testing frameworks and tools.

● Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases such as Postgres, MySQL, Mongo, Maria, etc.

● Experience with web frameworks such as Django, Flask, or others.

● Contributions to open-source projects or a strong personal portfolio.
