Job Summary:

Client is looking for Magento Architect and this is remote position in India.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the architectural design and development of complex e-commerce solutions on the Magento platform, ensuring scalability, performance, and maintainability.
  • Collaborate closely with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into scalable technical solutions.
  • Define and enforce coding standards, best practices, and architectural principles within the Magento development team.
  • Architect and implement Magento PIM solutions to optimize product data management and enhance user experience.
  • Design and implement integrations with various web services, third-party systems, and APIs.
  • Lead efforts to optimize system performance, reliability, and security, utilizing caching mechanisms, load balancing, and other techniques.
  • Champion the adoption of cloud technologies and best practices, including containerization (Docker), container orchestration (Kubernetes), cloud-native architecture, and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Mentor and coach junior developers, providing guidance on technical design, architecture, and best practices.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including UI/UX designers, QA engineers, and project managers, to deliver high-quality solutions on time and within budget.
  • Stay abreast of emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices in e-commerce and share knowledge with the team.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Magento Commerce Certification is mandatory.
  • Proven track record of architecting and leading successful Magento BE development projects.
  • Extensive experience with Magento PIM and product data management.
  • Strong proficiency in PHP, with the ability to design and develop complex solutions.
  • Deep understanding of software architecture principles, design patterns, and best practices.
  • Demonstrated expertise in designing and implementing large-scale e-commerce systems, preferably in a cloud environment.
  • Hands-on experience with cloud technologies such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
  • Familiarity with containerization and orchestration technologies, such as Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment tools.
  • Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills, with a strong focus on performance optimization and scalability.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (preferred).
