Job description
Position: Billing Engineer
Responsibilities :
Will be responsible for Running Account/Final Billing for Interior fit-out projects.
Good Knowledge of Industry best practice and CPWD methods of measurements required for preparation of detailed MBs and bills.
Quantity take off from the GFC drawings & preparation of the bill for concerned projects for all trades including MEP (Electrical, LV, Data, HVAC, firefighting etc)
Requires frequent visit to sites involving inter-city travel
Preparation of rate analysis for Non-tendered items
Thorough knowledge of Project life cycle and documentation process required for controlling costs, mitigating exaggerated vendor claims and avoiding any deduction from clients.
Identification and tracking approval of Non-tendered items.
Review and certify vendor bills for interim and final payments.
Should possess adequate knowledge to drive financial closures of final bills with vendors.
Age is no bar for this position; retired professionals are encouraged to apply
Must Haves:
Background and experience in billing of interior fit out projects.
Knowledge of CPWD recommended methods of measurement and Rate of analysis.
8-10 years of overall experience in construction and interior industry; out of which 5-6 years’ experience in corporate interiors.
Able to work on MS excel/ Google spreadsheets
Working knowledge of AutoCAD for Quantity extraction
Specialization/formal qualification in Quantity Surveying and Rate Analysi
