Role Description

Looking for a full-time on-site role for a NodeJS Lead at NeoScript in New Delhi. The NodeJS Lead will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of NodeJS applications, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring high performance and responsiveness of applications.


Location: Chhatarpur, New Delhi


Qualifications

  • 3-8 years of experience
  • Working knowledge of GraphQL as BFF layer
  • Strong proficiency with JavaScript
  • Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git
  • Knowledge of Node.js and frameworks available for it such as Express
  • Understanding the nature of asynchronous programming and its quirks and workarounds
  • Good understanding of server-side CSS pre-processors such as Stylus, Less etc
  • Basic understanding of front-end technologies, such as HTML5, and CSS3
  • Understanding accessibility and security compliance
  • User authentication and authorization between multiple systems, servers, and environments
  • Integration of multiple data sources and databases into one system
  • Understanding fundamental design principles behind a scalable application
  • Understanding differences between multiple delivery platforms, such as mobile vs. desktop, and optimizing output to match the specific platform
  • Creating database schemas that represent and support business processes
  • Implementation of automated testing platforms and unit tests



Responsibilities

  • Understand Clients’ business problems and engage in Client servicing to manage peer-level Client relationships
  • Hands on experience on latest backend technologies
  • Liaison with UI Leads and Backend Leads to understand the usability and feasibility of interface designs
  • Effectively communicate responsibilities within team and deliver Client expectations
  • Experience leading development teams
