App Support Engineer

Position Summary

As a ONE App Support Engineer at Deluxe, you will troubleshoot and resolve issues occurring within our custom digital media supply chain platform. You will work closely with Client Services, Content Operations, and Management teams to ensure the smooth operation of a flexible, state-of-the-art content processing pipeline involving storage, ingestion, transcoding, packaging, and distribution of digital media assets. This position is based out of Bangalore, India.


Main Duties

  • Monitor web application dashboards, respond to alerts and provide courteous, friendly support to users
  • Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues across a wide range of services.
  • Establish the root causes of problems and communicate effectively to technical teams
  • Work flexibly in a team with rotating shifts to achieve 24x7 coverage
  • Collaborate with your team to discuss and document new or ongoing issues in our knowledge base (wiki) as SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures)
  • Operate efficiently within a fast-paced technical environment composed of rapidly changing products


What You Bring

  • 2 - 5 years of technical experience, preferably in a support role
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Knowledge of video, audio and subtitle digital media concepts and formats
  • Ability to analyze a technical problem and interpret error messages to trace the problem to its source across multiple application services in a distributed, cloud-based environment
  • Initiative and focus under pressure, capable of prioritizing and managing your workload based on business impact and time constraints
  • Creativity and efficiency in solving complex, time-critical problems
  • Experience with Atlassian services (Jira, Confluence) preferred
  • Experience with observation platforms or log management tools (e.g., Splunk, Datadog, New Relic, etc.) preferred
  • Experience in Java script/Python/.Net
