Job Purpose:As a Solutioning professional, you will be responsible to create the RIGHT solutions for customers. Understanding the core problem statement of the customers, doing an analysis on the inputs received, applying data driven matrix approach to propose the most appropriate automation solution to the customer.

Also, ensuring the solution offered, provides the most efficient and has optimized ROI (Total cost of ownership) for manufacturing and warehouse Intralogistics operations. Understanding customers’ industries respected operations, priorities, business data, design philosophy, with an ability to develop innovative solutions, and a decent understanding of the industrial automation technology.


Role Expectations:

  1. To apply logical understanding on mapping the right product fit for the solution to the problem statement of customer, considering the existing constraints related to space, manpower, complexity of operations etc.
  2. To craft solutions using a 3D or a 2D CAD layout and making it in a presentable and understandable form
  3. To evaluate Time-motion-study for manpower versus automation.
  4. To chart process flow of before and after automation situation for customer to call out the modifications in operations and their benefits.
  5. To advise customer and the Hi-Tech sales and solution team about the benefits, and core value proposition coming out of the solution.
  6. To provide face-to-face consultation to the customer on pre-readiness, SOPs, scope clarity.
  7. To get product, technical & project team sign off on the solution.
  8. To gradually keep standardizing the solutions for each and every use case to finally createrespective collaterals, fast-pacing direct and indirect sales

II. PEOPLE SPECIFICATIONS

Profile: Ideally ~

  1. Bachelors in Engineering is a must
  2. 3+ years of overall experience- in technical pre-sales and solutions in Industrial Automation/Material handling systems/ASRS systems/AGVs etc
  3. Experience in developing 2-D/3-D layouts using AutoCAD, Inventor etc.



Requisites: Exposure to solutioning and mechanical product designing in autonomous mobile robots with manufacturing and automation background.





Competencies:


Solution Creation and Submission:

•Responsible for supporting the Sales team, in a Solution Specialist capacity, during all phases of the sales process i.e. RFI & RFP, due diligence representations and coordination.

•Understand clients technical & functional requirement. • Do proper solutioning and deliver demos, if need be.

•Developing and delivering customized Technical presentations, including solution descriptions


Technology Solution and Designing:

•Lead the effort to gather business requirements, understand in-scope Processes and provide Solutioning inputs for designing client specific complex technology solutions duly proposing THRSLs products and solutions

•Requirement based travel with members of the sales and Delivery, meet customers & prospects, understand customer environments, their needs, and present solutions


Budgeting and pricing:

•Prepare & submit Comprehensive costing inputs in line with the prepared solutions

•Sizing and pricing the solution for all the elements with utmost efficiency to create a win-win situation. Developing the Business Case and competitive pricing for customers keeping in mind the Value proposition being presented


Technology Project Management, Enablement & Integration

•Proactively communicate with Project Lead on issues/risks that could impact the project.

•Participate in project planning sessions with Project Managers, Business leaders and the Technology team to analyse business / technology requirements

•Function as Solution Specialist and coordinate with internal teams to ensure enablement of the specific offering
